what i liked about the property was how nice the staff was and attentive. except the person monitoring breakfast both mornings, I'm not sure if she understood English but when i informed her of potentially bad product on the line she just smiled and said ok. I love the location
we arrived at 4pm on day of check-in, our AC was at 77 degrees, not a big deal. however it never cooled down. we called front desk and maintenance came looked at it reset it at 60degrees. Told us it should be fine now. we left for dinner with friends and when we returned around 7 it was still 77 degrees not it actually felt warm. when we called down they told us maintenance was gone for the night and he would just have to move us. They only had double queens not a king suite like we booked. we booked via Booking.com so no discount or comp available. on a Friday night you had one person working the front desk so it took him about 45 minutes to come help us. we felt bad for him he looked exhausted like he had been running around. I get breakfast is free, however, the eggs looks like mashed potatoes, they were mushy, the waffle batter was sour my waffle smelled horrible. when mentioned they lady didn't seem to speak english so she just smiled and said ok and did nothing. the Food overall was just well below the standard. We chose this hotel as it was where we had our honeymoon 12 years ago, we didn't have much and back then the hotel was really rough and needed a upgrade. we come back every few years and this was probably the most disappointing. the staff was amazing and tried. but the property and product were lacking.

Comfort room, especially bed, much better since renovation. There was everything I needed (fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron ...).
There isn’t enough variety, and the same options are served every day for breakfast. There are mostly sweet options. The food area is very crowded because it's too narrow.
It would be nice if guests who return late at night were more considerate and kept the noise down in the hallway.
