Beautiful hotel right in the middle of lake placid. My son loved the pool and hot tub, we enjoyed having a balcony off of our room, and that we had option to bring our pup. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful views and lots of cozy seating areas inside and out.
The window in our room looked into the indoor pool a bit weird to me.

My room assignment matched my wishes exactly. The newly remodeled room and hallway are very nice. The earth-tone colors and lighting are sharp. The new shower and bathroom facilities are nicely done. The new bath ventilation fan does the job. The new open cabinet furniture is very sharp. The new carpet and wall patterns are pleasing. The new Keurig coffee maker is a hit! All in all, it is nicely done.
Paying a premium room rate, like other hotels in the area, to stay in a hotel when you hear loud hammering and power equipment banging at 7:00 a.m. in the morning and after 5:00 p.m. in the evening. There should be a "Pardon Our Renovation" discount room rate offered during the construction period. Also, for stays three nights and longer the breakfast buffet should be
included in your room rate.
