Disappointed

The location was good, the staff was friendly.

Very disappointed with the fact that the facility claims to have a pool, however apon arrival they were undergoing maintenance and the pool area was completely shut down. We were there and chose this hotel for the pool because we were traveling with children. Also all the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were empty.

I feel like I was scammed.

Nice looking

They charged me the $250 for smoking saying that I smoked in the room when i didn’t. Went there for a baby shower from out of town. We got back to the room at 11pm, went to sleep, woke up, took shower, and checked out. Just because they found a tobacco product in the room, they accused me of smoking and charged me.

Badic and disappointing

Acceptable...basic

The hotel was being renovated. There was a smell of wet paint. There is no a/c on the floors so it was musty smelling & hot. The smell in the room was musty & smelt of wet paint. We paid the regular price for a room at a time that renovations were occur3at the hotel and service was substandard

Just ok

The room, the furniture, and the bed. The front desk staff were friendly, but it did seem a bit forced. I would imagine they were coached.

The pool was too cold, breakfast was not included and was expensive. The water in the room that wasn't for us was tacky and rude

I had a lovely time with my daughters but the hotel was definitely lacking in many areas.

Staff greeting, friendliness, helpfulness was very poor and not a highlight. Pool was depressing. Breakfast was $13/person and it was mediocre at best; barely fresh food and it was even toward the end of serving.

Stayed here since 2012, we'll be back

Room was good, bed was comfortable, shower had nice water pressure and lots of hot water. Had a closet, desk, night stands, lamps, lounge chair,ottoman. Plugs next to bed for cell phone. Mini fridge, ice machine down the hall. Indoor pool. Small store, bar, restaurant. Food was good, we had breakfast.The employees are so nice here.

Unfortunately they're remoldeing and over half their parking lot had containers and work trucks so parking was awful for a booked hotel. I get it but made it terrible to park, I don't like not being able to see my car in a hotel, especially for the price we paid, no security so kinda on your own with that. We just unloaded everything and took to room.

The staff were incredible, and awfully gracious and kind. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfort

Weekend Stay - Met Expectations

As on another review, breakfast is good. Made to order or buffet. Had to ask for hot water and tea bag; i'm a tea drinker. Coffee and water available 24 hours.

the room was nice and spacious.

my son has been dying to swim and the pool was nasty. It had dark hair through the whole pool. my husband tried to clean it but there was so much. super disappointing.

Overall a good stay for me…..would not eat there again though

Convenient to get to. Staff was very friendly. Rooms we’re comfortable.

The restaurant was awful. very limited menu and they ran out of hamburgers. Food came and had to send back salad. Ordered NO blue cheese due to allergy and it arrived with blue cheese. one waiter/bartender and she tried really hard to get to everyone, but dinner was a struggle for us. One of the friends I traveled with found condoms and court papers left in the drawer by coffee maker. That was disconcerting.

do not expect much from chef who cooks breakfast

breakfast fixed by cook was horrible. all adding to omelette old and overcooked. grits for breakfast with garlic and pepper was disgusting. coffee bitter. and we paid over $30+ was ridiculous.

Win at Hilton Garden Inn

Bed was comfortable, luv'd the feather pillows. Day one had cooked to order breakfast which was tasty; potatoes and omelet. There were other available items; yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, bagels, danish. Indoor pool was a nice amenity. Nice lobby sitting area, dining area, and bar. ALL hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Had a misunderstanding with checkout time. Front desk and housekeeping were accommodating to me.

Had to wrestle with sliding doors on shower entering and exiting. Probably a little WD40 would help
