Holiday Inn Express Maspeth by IHG

Friendly staff, clean hotel and room, comfortable bed, free parking, and very good breakfast.

Location is a little far from Manhattan, some outside noise, and the breakfast menu was the same each day.

Breakfast was excellent!

The breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best I have seen in all my travels around the world, and in my 28 years of military service (Navy). The location is a bit of a hustle to buses and trains, especially trains, but it's manageable.

My room was very noisy. The AC and the bathroom were very noisy. It seemed as if the toilet was constantly flushing on it its own. We had a room on the basement (C level), and one of the elevators wasn't working. So, there was always a long wait to get to my room. Parking is a bit of a challenge; it's first come first serve bases. They didn't have tour information or tickets on sale at the counter, like other hotels with organized trips or tours. No Suttles available to take you to and from bus or train stations.

Comfortable.
