We are located just a few minutes' walk away from Waikiki Beach on the south shore of Oahu, Hawaii. We are close to Diamond Head Crater, Waikiki surf breaks, and loads of bars, restaurants, and nightlife.

Location it’s perfect.
The location was very good, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay.
First, I found the lack of flexibility regarding check-in frustrating. There were still 40 minutes before the official check-in time, and my room was already empty and available, but I was not allowed to enter early.
I also found the kitchen poorly equipped, and the bathroom was not as clean or well-equipped as I expected. I stayed in a semi-private room, but based on the photos on Booking.com, I had understood that it would be a truly private room. In reality, it felt more like a shared space, which was not what I expected from the description and photos.
Overall, while the location was convenient, I think there are several areas that could be improved, especially cleanliness, the facilities, and flexibility with guests.

Really nice activities every night for guests, which is essential in the hostel environment, this supported me to make connections as a solo traveler and really elevated my stay (shoutout to karaoke night)
The beds are really comfortable, and bedding is provided, there were small cupboards next to beds, wardrobes in the middle section of the room and lockers in my room. Also a great place to charge your phone and get ready by the door with 3 mirrors and a chair.
The location is amazing, just a 2 minute walk from the zoo and the beach, also the main strip is a minute away, with a really fun vibe, especially around dinner time, as there’s lots of Fire and Water features around Waikiki. The beach is great for surfing with lots of instructors and lessons available.
There’s a pizza place and cafe next door so if you want to stay close and not cook there great options, this was especially handy during the hurricane.
I stayed in room 203, and the overall cleanliness could of been better, especially in the bathroom, the shower often felt gross and the floor towel often wouldn’t get changed when the cleaners came, meaning that it was kinda gross. However I know that A block had much cleaner bathrooms and if I stayed again I would request to stay in A block instead of C block.
Apart from that, the hostel is amazing, that’s only one thing that needs some attention.

Breakfast is fine! The hostel location is great! But WiFi didn’t work in my room (203) witch I really didn’t like it because it’s so much important when someone is traveling
