Besonders hat uns die freundliche und zuvorkommende Art von Maria (Vermieterin) überrascht , die uns nicht nur herzlich empfangen hat, sondern auch zahlreiche Tipps - sowohl kulturell als auch kulinarisch - an uns weitergegeben hat. Ab der ersten Minute angekommen, entschleundigt sich alles. Will man dennoch etwas erleben, so empfiehlt sich am Abend bspw das nahegelegene Städchen Carovigno oder Mesagne (beides ca 20min mit dem Auto entfernt). In beiden kann man auch sehr gut essen. Baden kann man etwa wunderbar beim nahegelegenen Apani Beach (Sandstrand mit der Option Liegen und Schirm zu mieten oder den „free beach“ zu nutzen) (ca 12min mit dem Auto entfernt). Gut auch geeignet an windigen Tagen für Surfer!
Die Unterkunft eignet sich aufgrund der Lage hervorragend für Besichtigungen bspw von Lecce, Otranto und Gallipolli (beide Städte an einem Tag gemütlich machbar) , Ostuni, Alberobello und Locorotondo. Alles nicht weit entfernt.
Wenn man am Abend nicht wegfahren möchte, kann man auch die gute traditionelle Küche von Maria genießen. Das Pool ist übrigens auch sehr gepflegt und sauber, so dass die Masseria tagsüber durchaus zum Verweilen einlädt, vor allem als entspannende Abwechslung zu Besichtigungstouren.
Da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Freilich, wenn man Trubel und Clubs und Lärm bevorzugt, ist diese Unterkunft sicherlich falsch gewählt. Für uns war es perfekt, da wir Ruhe suchten und die bekamen wir auch.

Esterni molto belli, abbiamo usufruito della piscina e fatto la conoscenza del cane di casa e degli asini.
Molto buona la colazione con vista e gentilissimo il padrone di casa che ci ha serviti.
Antipatica esperienza al check-in: siamo rimasti 30 minuti fuori sotto al sole (pieno agosto) in attesa che ci aprissero il cancello per entrare.
Avevamo informato per tempo che avevamo un ritardo, e che saremmo arrivati alle 17.30 anziché alle 16.00 come inizialmente concordato. La host ci ha risposto, quando ormai eravamo già in arrivo e avevamo fatto tutto di fretta per arrivare all'orario stabilito, che ci avrebbe accolti solamente alle 18.00, dato che avevamo saltato l'appuntamento delle 16.00 (cosa di cui avevamo avvisato per tempo, a differenza loro).
L'ostinazione a non aprirci prima delle 18.00, lasciandoci fuori in strada sotto il sole, è stata a dir poco sgradevole ed è sembrata a tutti gli effetti una ripicca. Gli host erano infatti all'interno della struttura e noi avevamo citofonato e mandato messaggi per dire che stavamo aspettando fuori, e non si capisce perché non ci abbiano almeno fatti entrare per attendere il check-in all'ombra nelle zone comuni. Cancello aperto solo alle 18.00 e neanche delle scuse per l'attesa.
Da segnalare anche che la SPA non era disponibile: comprensibile che col caldo non sia in funzione, ma sarebbe corretto segnalarlo nell'annuncio così che si sappia prima della prenotazione e non dopo.
Poi al mattino avremmo voluto utilizzare la piscina prima di andare era in fase di pulizia e quindi non agibile.
In camera pochi appoggi. E la portafinestra dava su un passaggio comune, bisognava chiudere le tende e accendere la luce per non essere visti da chi passava.
