Breakfast was amazing but the poor waitress/host was by herself-it was her last day... she was amazing and apologetic. More staff eventually came in-and no one seemed upset by any of this-just a nice group of people altogether which made a challenging situation a little more comfortable.
Everything was great-perhaps the restaurant staff could have been in communication with the hotel reception as the restaurant was booking out and a heads up would have been nice, Seemed like 2 entities and they were within feet of each other.

We stayed in the dog-friendly carriage house. They had a bag with treats and a doy for our dog. They also had bowls and a bed for him. love the afternoon tea and snacks in their cozy room with a fireplace. They have a saltwater pool and exercise room.
We couldn't stay longer.

The whole place is great! With afternoon tea, indoor swimming pool and dining options. It is great! Room was quiet and bed comfy.

The breakfast was good. Not up to the former owners standards though. The breakfast staff was wonderful!
I asked for a room that would accomodate that I use a walker. They gave me a room with a tub/shower with a side so high that normally fit people have trouble getting in it! I couldn't shower/bathe for 3 of the 4 nights (2 stays) I was there over the last month. For the last day they were able to move me to a room with a walk in shower.
