After a long hot summer, we so desperately needed some quality R&R, and we got just that at Four Points Sheraton in Fort Walton. Yes, the property is dated, but I feel they have done a nice job with all the updates and remodeling they have done. The food and drinks were good, and we so enjoyed dining in at times. We didn't have to leave the property if we didn't want to. The room was very roomy, nicely decorated, and very clean!! Love the products used in the bathroom; the shower pressure is very great, and the water is the hottest anywhere. Beach access is GREAT; you are right on it. The weather could have been better, but this was no fault of the hotel. Great little kitchenette, but bring your own kitchen needs; they don't supply them.
Put some type of stick vacuum to help stay on top of the sand. Large trash cans by elevators would be helpful, and some fresh paint in the stairwells here and there but most importantly AC in the elevator, please!!
