The location is a little further out from Colonial Williansburg but it was quiet and a pleasant retreat. We ate at one of the restaurants on the list given to us and it was fabulous! We didn’t stay for breakfast. I’d go back!

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. Loved that there are multiple pools (the one near our building was not open during our stay but the two at the main building were). Not within walking distance to anything but not a far drive! We went to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg during our stay and both were about 20 minutes away.
Before we went, we noticed some recent reviews stating that there were mold/mildew issues in some of the rooms, and that the AC wasn't working properly. We called to see if this problem had been fixed and they assured us it had. While the AC seemed to be working fine, the room definitely had a stale/mildewy smell to it so it was obvious that they did have a recent humidity issue. The room was clean however! Just a noticeable smell that didn't get better even with the air and a fan running. Also having to pay to park at an already more expensive hotel is unfortunate.
