Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse

I went to DC to attend the burial at Arlington of my oldest friend and USN fellow Navy Nurse. The location of this residence Inn was perfect...close to Reagan Airport, and 1.3 miles from Arlington. The room was spotless, and comfortable. There were 2 of us staying there. I took the sleeper sofa and my friend had the ? King sized bed. Both were very comfortable. My only negative was the sofa bed wasnt made. We founds clean sheets in the dresser, but the blanket was VERY small ( maybe twin size?) and extremely thin. I asked for an additional blanket and the front desk sent up another tiny thin blanket. If you ever see this review, Marriot, PLEASE switch to larger, thicker blankets. Air conditioning is very cold, and necessary in this heat. Another plus of the location is the many restaurants within easy walking distance.

VERY thin , small blanket for the sleeper sofa...too small to even tuck in. And too thin to keep me warm in the aircon.

Location, decent breakfast, nice staff.

Horrible pillows and thin and tough sheets.

Rooms were well equipped and quite spacious. Well situated for the metro with restaurants and shops nearby.

Would have liked room to be cleaned/serviced every day. Breakfast was ok but basic.

Nice area.

Overall accommodations were not what I expected. In addition a power surge cause us to lose phone, tv and internet service for a lengthy period of time.
