The staff were amazing, let us stay in the heated pool as long as we wanted and we're very helpful. Location was great, room was bigger than expected. Bed was very comfortable.
Pool was a little dirty, just needed to be netted. Actual building is quite old.

The front desk person, David, went above and beyond to help us get into our room after hours. The bartender, Skuolo, was incredibly friendly and personable. In fact, all of the staff were helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. They gave the Christiana a warm, welcoming, and cozy feeling that really made our stay special.
Our room was right next to the bar. Although the bar closed fairly early, around 9 PM, we could definitely hear the noise while it was open. We had booked a “Mountain View King,” but unfortunately there were too many trees to actually see the mountain. We could see the creek from our balcony and hear it from our room with the door open, which was lovely.
The hotel was fully booked one night because of a concert, but since we were staying for three nights, it would have been nice if we could have been moved to another Mountain View King with a better view for at least part of our stay. We weren’t necessarily looking for an upgrade—just a room in the same category with a better location and actual mountain views.

Christiania feels like and looks like a European ski chalet. Steps from the village, It is in the best location to start and end your day. Clean room and as described. We will come back again!
Room door hard to unlock and open. Would love to have spent more time here!

- All all of the staff that we interacted with were super friendly and professional.
- The bed was very comfortable, with great pillows
- Fantastic location.
- the rooms are badly in need of a refresh. It looks like they are not spending any money on the place in maintenance as our toilet seat had half the paint worn off and brown marks on it while the shower faucet was so old that it was a struggle to turn off and on.
- the only wall outlet near the bed is in the centre of the bed so you have to pull the bed away from the wall to get to it. They don't even think to provide a simple $10 power strip to make it easier to plug your phone or tablet in.
- Even though their web site advertises breakfast is available the restaurant and bar is closed during the summer.
