Staff. Location. Physical building. There are worse mattresses. Breakfast was nice. AC worked well. Rooms were nice.
Your execise room actually was as horrible as any ever as far as i can know in my 40 plus years of travel. Just saying.

The location was great for Carowinds. The hot water and water pressure for the shower was great. The a/c was nice and cool which was great after a long day at Carowinds. The breakfast was fresh we'll stocked and great variety. We didnt use the pool. It seemed small and had no shade but it was open until 10pm which was later than other hotels we have stayed at.
I think we got a bad room. We stayed in 141 and the floor was sticking up. I was concerned it was from water damage and there could be mold. There seemed to be some recent fixes to the bathroom but didnt look good. When house cleaning came around to turn over other rooms I walked around and noticed a lot of the rooms on the first floor had this issue with the floor.. Also, the mattress was very very firm. I am a stomach sleeper and almost hurt to sleep.
