The room was a king and was nice. It was quiet where we stayed even though our room faced the next door mall. Most of the places we were wanting, willing to go were nearby.
The Cafeteria was closed which, hampered what was to be a hotel stay do nothing weekend. We had to forage further away from the property. The pool was not as well maintained as it should have been. A touch green. broken tiles.

The property itself is definitely historical and closed to the River walk and Alamo. But so are higher class hotels
The vents in our ceiling were falling down and leaking water. The tub had a constant leak and the room above us constantly had running back and forth. To the point we had to call the desk. Then when we got ready to check out the hotel staff told us we owed 60 a night for parking. We asked was there other parking, they replied no and it’s on our site. They were actually kind of rude at that point.
