Staff was wonderful! Professional, welcoming, and doing a lot with very little.
Property is not up-to-date. Lots of little things- closets that wouldn't close, missing hooks in bathroom, sinks that wouldn't drain, and missing ice bucket.
And for the cost - which is quite high due to what I assume is some proximity to NYC- there is no complimentary breakfast which was frustrating. Our family of five had breakfast elsewhere because $14 per person at a mid hotel is ridiculous.

We stayed on a non smoking floor and still could smell residual smoke. Probably not the staff or hotel’s fault.

The front desk Janayah, was amazing. She was kind and cheerful. She was the nicest, and friendliest person there.
The room was clean, besides needing a new shower head. It was old and looks dirty, I'm sure it wasnt, but it looked it...& the pillows are horrible... featured, but cheap, not firm, I woke up with a head-neckache.. but, the hotel was nice, although..
I can see why it's rated only as a 3 star hotel. When people travel and spend money on a hotel room, and they offer breakfast, they don't expect to come down in the morning, and come to find there is a big sign taped to the glass where the buffet is, telling us that the breakfast is NOT complimentary, that, in fact it is $16.99. It was just disappointing... and a let down. I think that's that's least they could do for their guests.
It was upsetting.
