Perfect secret place

In a private corner yet comfortable

It’s well maintained Victorian style The staff extremely well managed place from room service to food friendly I felt more like a family visit away from home

Great staff and the house is beautiful. There was also a nice common room with good coffee always available.

The only thing was the unexpected soundproofing in the windows that prevented you from opening them up. I personally like having fresh air especially when sleeping so that was the only qualm. But still no biggie and I’m sure they have rooms that don’t require the soundproofing.

I loved the historic feel of this place. Beautifully renovated. Okay maybe the water pressure wasnt spectacular but the room was huge, the bed was super comfy with excellent linens and amenities. Breakfast included was lovely. The common room with complimentary tea coffee etc was beautiful.

We loved it all. Lots of stairs if that is an issue for you. Not us but fyi.

The bed sheets were so AMAZING we had to buy some ourselves. The ambiance of the house is incredible and resding sbout the history was interesting. If we come back we will stay here again.

Superb

Great place to stop in Providance for few nights. Walking distance to the most of the attactions. Rooms were clean and comfi. Good breakfast - like the fact that you can choose the time for it.

Bit close to the highway , but not that it bothered us at night. Made it quick get away driving back home.

Quaint and cosy guest house, easy walk from centre of Providence.

Very quaint and comfortable guest house at a superb price. The period furnished common room is a delight, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back.

Bait and switch type descriptions make for disappointing stay in Providence.

The room was large.

The property doesn’t live up to the description in most ways. Felt like a bait and switch. It may be within walking distance to sites and restaurants but the walks are NOT pleasant or particularly easy- over an interstate highway, through construction sites and a huge, ugly downtown shopping center that looks mostly like a monumental parking garage. They may say your room is on the 3rd floor but it’s actually a 4th floor walk up. Even worse, their breakfast room does not allow for physical distancing and they were completely overwhelmed trying to serve breakfast to a full house. We ended up waiting for an hour in a small patio off the parking lot in the heat and humidity.

Clean, unique, quiet hotel for a short stay in Providence.

Very well located, unique property. Rooms are large, with lots of space. The neighborhood is very quiet. Everything is clean.
