The room was very nice for the price. This property was one of the cheapest in Kalispell and for a short stay is more than sufficient. Easy to find right on Highway 93 and well marked. Beds were comfortable and AC/Heater worked. Hotel is about an hour drive to the Park but the scenery to/from was awesome. We flew into Missoula and rented a car and made the two hour drive to Kalispell. Gas was $4.38 everywhere but we found one place with $4.19 and filled up. Easy drive with lakes and mountains to see.
Front desk folks seemed to be 'phoning in' their jobs - a couple were not very welcoming nor friendly. Toilet seat was broken on arrival which was mentioned to the front desk but was not fixed or replaced during our stay. Imagine trying to "chase" a toilet seat at 2 in the morning. Ran out of TP one evening and had difficulty getting another roll at the front desk. Almost seemed as if it was made of gold coming out of their wallet. Breakfast was adequate for a continental breakfast but you have to get there before 7am or there is nothing left - they don't restock the rolls, etc. Coffee very good though.

The price. It was a full house, so perhaps others liked the price as well. Motel prices in the Flathead Valley are ridiculous. So when I could pay the same price for two nights as I would have for one, it's a good deal.
The facility is in need of some TLC. There were painters touching up in the hallways. The back door lock was non existent.

The cost and the cold water pitcher in lobby
Amenities were practically nonexistent… breakfast was minimal, vending machines empty or didn’t work, room was definitely dated as was the whole hotel.
