Picked this hotel because of proximity to Concord Coach Bus pick up spot. We are thru hiking the Appalachian Trail but

It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Nice pool and hot tub.

The AC wouldn’t run continuously and the hot water in the shower was spotty.

Booking site stated there was an indoor pool and hot tub, which were not indoor. Also website stated guest room with couch which was also not accurate

This place used to be a gem, and now it is a shame.

The beds, pillows and linens were as comfortable as they always have been, and the room is very large. The location is convenient to many trailheads, and as disappointing as our stay was, there are far worse options in town!

This motel is under new ownership since our last stay a few years ago. The new owners purchased a recently renovated, clean, updated, comfortable, and convenient place and it's just amazing how they've let it slide so quickly. The walls were filthy, surfaces dusty, edges of carpet haven't seen a vacuum in ages, random trash and hair left from previous guests, TV signal cut out every five minutes, not one but two nauseating industrial air fresheners in the bathroom, room phone doesn't work, picture fell off wall and was just left there, messy paint slapped all over the bathroom, no wifi login info in room, cigarette butts outside door, fan turning on and off every five minutes, no Do Not Disturb sign, and to top it off, we were put on the end of the motel with our heads literally twelve feet from every vehicle driving through Gorham. Thankfully, there is still one great option in town for our future visits.

The only good thing about this inn was the location.

Dirty room in every single aspect you can imagine ( the first thing I saw was carpet as it was not vacuumed, and he hadn't even got into the room, it was late night so i just took pictures to show in the am to fd). So I went to the front desk(fd) and asked them if they could get someone to clean it (he wanted to change the room, but all I wanted was to be clean), he said ok and later on the day we came back and all they did was poorly vacuum the carpet and take the trash out, I confronted him and he said it was clean even though I knew for a fact it was not simply because I checked! So I didn't want to ruin my trip...so I let it pass, but I was disappointed and disgusted the whole time.

Needs improvement to customer service and room cleaning.

Location is perfect for my needs.

Check-in was unsatisfactory. I had called the property, twice, to confirm I could check in after 9pm. I was assured there was someone available 24x7 and it would be no problem. I arrived at 9:20pm and nobody was available, the phone number listed in the window for after-hours went straight to voicemail (which wasn't set up so I couldn't even leave a message). Further, the phone number listed in Google is incorrect, some guy answered and said wrong number. I located a keycard in the drop box (incorrect instructions given by a sign in the window), and just took it -- there was no name or anything on the card as had been described by the sign in the office window, and the room type was not what I had reserved, but I didn't care at that point and utilized the room anyways... my only other option was sleeping in my car and it was 20 degrees outside. In the room, the cleanliness left alot to be desired. The bed and bathroom were fine but the carpet was quite dirty and it was clear it had not been vacuumed. There was alot of dirt/sand/debris, trash behind furniture, etc. They could do a much better job by running a vacuum for even just two minutes. I have stayed at this property at least five times over the years and this was a disappointment from prior stays.

A Clean Bed

Bed was clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable and was in a good location for our itinerary.

lacked the basics one expects from a US Motel. TV was out same problem other reviewers had. WIFI was weak at best. " Hot Water" was tepid . No closet, Rack or even a hanger to hang clothes. Desk man said he would issue me a partial refund , never happened.,

Superb

Room was very clean. Updated bathroom with plenty of hot water. We stayed Thursday thru Saturday night and had plenty of towels and toiletries in the room. Only disappointment was that the TV wasn't working in our room...but several of our friends were in adjoining rooms so we didn't need it

the location is excellent and close to restaurants and not far from Santa’s Village.

Disappointing

The room looked recently remodeled, but smelled like bleach we opened the windows and as the bleach smell went away the mildew smell kicked in. it was very strong in the bathroom.

No ice, Hot tub that is advertised was broken

The staff needs to stop walking in rooms uninvited.
