Best Western Plus Bayshore Inn

My room was clean, bed(King) was comfortable and my shower had unlimited hot water. Very spacious, as I do not like to be in a confined space. TV was big enough to see from my bed. The staff were very welcoming. I had breakfast every day, the staff were very nice and busy keeping all the areas of food very clean. Breakfast was good. I took the walking trail behind the hotel. It was nice, just have to watch out for the local rif raf. Which I only passed one, not bad. I traveled alone, was in town for to set up a wedding venue Fri-Sun. Lots of stores to shop at and scenery to look at. I didn't have a chance but there are some cool ole dive bars to-Fun.

The only thing was the bathroom fan was noisy. Not a big deal.

Economical, centrally located, comfortable room. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and friendly. Free breakfast until 10 am was awesome.

The pillows weren't bad, standard hotel pillows. I should have brought my own. That's on me.

Location is great

A little outdated like the door on bathroom was falling apart and the parking spaces are very small

This hotel was centrally located for the things we wanted to do. It was a very busy hotel, so you have to be aware when you are taking your pet out to go potty. There were a lot of people and other dogs around. The room was very good and the bed was comfortable. There was a strip of grass on one side of the hotel for pets to do their business and just one block down there was a path along the bay, which was pleasant during the day. it got a little sketchy toward the evening as it appears to be a spot where people like to hang out. Overall the hotel was very nice and makes a great base camp for exploring the Redwoods. The Avenue of the Giants is only a 30 minute drive. plenty of restaurants and it is fun to explore the Old Town area. I highly recommend Gallagher's for lunch and Phatsy Kline's (located in the Inn at 2nd & C hotel) both in Old Town. If you go to Phatsy Kline's (named after the proprietor'scat) I recommend that margarita and the charcuterie board. Yum!!

No fault of the hotel, but it was super busy with lots of people and a number of pets...so you need to be careful if you have a reactive pet. Once you are outside the parking lot it is less chaotic.
