When I saw the pictures on the profile, I liked that it looked comfortable, had a pool and had a breakfast available in the mornings. I also saw it had a jacuzzi in the room, unfortunately only a select few had that option and it was unavailable. Guest service was good. When i got to my room it looked clean and comfortable. It’s a big sized room and very roomy bathroom. It also has a mini fridge. Breakfast was Ok, different options to choose from, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, apple, bananas and waffles.
I picked this one because the price was more expensive rather than going with a cheaper one because of the Jacuzzi and Pool option. .but my mistake, didn’t know it was going through a remodel. If i knew i would’ve picked a different hotel. In the mornings I could hear the hammering and drilling . Plus the smell of paint and chemicals. Bummer the Pool was not heated. it was so cold. I didn’t even use it while I was there and it was so hot outside. There were no rooms left to get the Jacuzzi option. This hotel is right by the highway so you guessed it, the buzzing and humming of the highway noise was heard throughout. My uber driver said it was hard to get to this location because of the way you have loop around the service road next to the highway. It’s a one way street so if you miss the exit you have to go all the way around. talk about not being pedestrian friendly it took me 50 minutes to get to the restaurant on the other side of the highway and 30 min to get to the Mall shopping center and movie theater. Plus it’s Houston so yes the days are Hot and Humid. I could have just stayed in my Hotel and ordered in but what’s the point of visiting if you can’t see the sights. I was wanting an Oasis of tranquility with a pool and courtyard, but I didn’t find it here.

I love being able to eat breakfast with my family in the morning. The hotel is comfortable for me and my family. I enjoyed my stay as well as my children.
I did not like there was only biscuits and gravy for the breakfast choice. The coffee wasn't really good, but it was drinkable. I needed more towels in the restroom.

The location and breakfast.
The rooms were not like the pictures on hotel very small the a/c didn’t work so good. The inside pool was freezing cold.
