Barefoot Beach Club

beach -amazing and somewhat private . great beach location for this area if you want peace. walked both at night and in the morning we got the premium 2 bedroom which worked out really well , clean and spacious would def book that again . beautiful view and size. added a photo from the balcony. pretty decent view of the pool and the beach . the location of the hotel depends on you . for the beach its great , parking is easy enough as long as you are staying in the hotel . restaurants nearby -if you don't mind the assortment in st johns pass then you are good to go - if you want more local fare its an easy bus or uber ride away . i would steer clear of the mex place directly across the street. its pretty looking but that's about it , and its empty which should tell you everything you need to know. the pool is very nice, i didn't have a chance to check out the rooftop but they did have yoga up there in the mornings which is a nice perk for some. i really liked this small boutiqish hotel and would stay again .

-its a non smoking hotel entirely. i don't smoke but hubby does and this is why i book rooms with balconies which he couldn't use to smoke his cigs. that being said, this rule may have been posted when i booked the room ( i didn't go back and check )and since im not a smoker im not looking for this detail. i care about cleanliness and reviews ...so he had to go outside to the edge of the property to smoke . probably for the best -there are a lot of rules posted everywhere, i supposed this keeps bad actors in line , rules don't really bother me as im not much a rule breaker but it gives an uptight vibe , perhaps its for the best since everything seemed pretty tidy and in order. -last thing , this is more picky than anything, there were not a lot of those little free toiletries. just the minimum soap and shampoo. seems they want to cut down on waste which is fine but i forgot my laundry bag and shower cap lol i wouldn't have minded using a robe for a premium room along with my towels or high end bottle of water .

Staff and location were exceptional

Our unit was a little dirty and needed some updates, bathroom door was beat up on the bottom and I had lost something and looked under the couch and it was nasty!
