My friend and I biked the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and stayed at Smuggler's Notch Inn for one night. The owners were very accommodating of our bikes and provided us with a breakfast to go, since we left early the next morning. They were also very helpful with directions, etc.

The breakfast was very good. It was customized to our liking and the owners were cooking and taking care of the guests themselves. They were very helpful and friendly. The living room with the fireplace was cosy, welcome and comfortable.

The place looked a little run down. We were initially given a room that was tiny and no space for our luggage. But they upgraded us to a bigger room at no cost. Every room is unique and different. There was no moisturizing lotion in the bathroom. The soaps, shampoos etc could be of better quality.
