Clean and lots of counter top space. Bathroom seat was nice. Pillows were comfortable.
The sound of the air conditioning unit starting up intermittently. I'm a lighter sleeper so that woke me up.

The location, in my opinion, is very well positioned as my half way point between StL and Denver. The fact that is not right on the interstate is a plus. Very quiet intersection in older section of Salina, KS adjacent to old US Route 40.

This motel is a hidden gem. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. It felt safe and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was new in a 50's hotel. No hangers in the open closet, not power outlet near the desk, the light for the bathroom is behind the bathroom door, not hairdryer, not shampoo or new tiny bar soap on the second day, the windown heater/AC blew like a houricane all night, not outlet near the sink, the towels are 20 years old, no coffee maker, they had a cheapest flatpannels I've ever seen, but that's not the problem, the problem was the sound, whcih on a scale of 1-10 was a 3....
I could go on, but these things matter to business travelers.
