Mount Battie Inn

It is a lovely old fashion motel which is beautifully and lovingly maintained. The owners are passionate about keeping it pin perfect and feeding you fresh baked goods daily for breakfast! If you are looking for an experience that takes you back in time only in good ways, it is ideal for you.

Although the motel itself and the property are gorgeously maintained, there are no amenities which we did not mind at all (such as a playground or pool or outdoor area to enjoy).

Some updating is needed, no full breakfast as it was done in previous years.

The room was like an apartment...not your typical rectangular motel room!! It was great to have a refrigerator in the room....as well as 2 wingback chairs! The flowers all around the property were beautiful! Such a nice addition to the ambiance!!! The real treat was Christine's banana bread and muffin delivery each evening! :) Christine showed me the 2 bedroom and living room family suite that was like a house! It would be perfect for families with kids or adults that want to be be in separate rooms! Quite nice... especially with a handicapped entrance!

Hard to think of something....... but maybe the room could use a coat of paint to perk it up! Ed said they had just painted the outside railing and were getting ready to paint the walkway. Maybe the rooms are on the list, as well.

It is old school motel..door outside to the room. Beautiful landscaping, view of the bay as well. The rooms are very retro. The Furniture looks original to the motel which the owner told me was opened in 1964, but well maintained and clean. The owners were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to.

The bathtub needed recaulking and there were two patches on the ceiling that must have been a leak fixed, but then did not paint the ceiling to cover them. There is no breakfast, but the owner bakes muffins and breads every night and delivers to your room.
