Rooms are accessed from inside the motel -- not from their own exterior doors. But, the ground floor rooms only have about 4 steps to go down. So, access is very easy. 2nd floor rooms have more steps, but the staircase is wide, so access is still relatively easy. Parking is plentiful, and a Uhaul trailer is easily accommodated. Easy access from and to the highway. Rooms are comfortable and all the basics are covered: large screen TV, beds are comfortable, night lite in bathroom, hook in bathroom, mirror has the surround-type LED lighting, There is a waffle machine -- which makes a waffle in about 3 minutes. (carbs -- but, sometimes you cave).
The breakfast is nothing special -- all carbs, except for yogurt cups. But, the yogurt was frozen. No actual juice is available. The fit and finish of the rooms is adequate -- but, you will see messy caulk around the tubs, etc. The bathroom door latch was actually installed backwards -- so, the door would not really click closed. Never saw a latch installed backwards ever before -- but, this is what separates great maintenance from lackluster. Somebody did not know how to install a doorknob. door latch. The parking lot needs repaving. Nothing really terrible here, but the motel does not pretend to be a 5-star hotel. So, these things are maybe expected at this price range. It would be nice to have an alarm clock or clock/radio in the room.
