Room was very clean, this is obviously an older establishment but everything on the grounds was well repaired like cracks in the pavement and stairs, you could see that radiator covers in the room had been updated. All furniture in the room no breakageall clean intact and functional. Beds very comfortable. the owners of this establishment care about keeping this place clean maintained and safe for customers.
the breakfast was done well inthe limited space they have to work in, All food was fresh options to make hot toast, bagels fresh fruit yougurt and coffee constantly made fresh.
I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Maine. Perfect for a single traveler coming to area to visit family and see the sights.
Location is no a busy road, Some times of the day had to travel in the opposite direction I was going and turn around down the road. A very minor inconvenience.

This was the last night of a 10-day road trip and we needed a place to stay before driving the last leg to home. The motel served its purpose.
The motel is dated and expensive (but cheaper than anything else in the area). A big deal was made about not smoking in the room (great) but the room had a strong floral smell, making me wonder what they were covering up and requiring opening the windows for a while. The breakfast was not worth the effort, but we found a great diner nearby.
