Last minute booking

The upgrades and restoration of decor was a pleasant surprise.

I would have normally not booked a room at this hotel but due to a last minute booking I had to stay here at the last minute because no other hotels were available at the time. There were spots on the top sheet with no other options at the front desk so I kept my jacket on because it was uncomfortable...I had my four year old with me I just wanted him to have somewhere to lay his head and rest for the most part. So the next morning our new booking was made available . In spite of We were grateful for the stay seeing that EVERYTHING IN THE AREA WAS UNABLE and it wasn't even a holiday.

AWFUL. The pictures lie. It was so dirty, roach infested & sheets weren't even changed!!! GROSS!!

EVERYTHING!! It was the most awful experience I have ever had a motel before. It was infested with roaches, dirty sheets, dirty toilet, walls, floors, absolutely everything about this motel was DISCUSTING!! And no one was ever in the office to talk to about a refund. I left early because I could NOT stay there one more night. But with no one available to talk to, I can't get any kind of refund. Don't stay here. It is GROSS!!

never go to the red roof xHenrietta again

first we don’t get a room with two beds that we booked for the first night. Second, after we agreed to take a king size bedroom, towels and bed sheets are so dirty as shown in the pictures even we request at the reception for clean bedsheet and towels the receptionist says she can’t do it as the manager after left for the day.

The most disgusting accomodation we have ever been to

Mattress seemed recent and was comfortable.

Room cleanliness : absolute zero !!!! An insect welcomed us on the pillows. The floor was sticky all over. There was a yellow (and humid 🥴) stain on the sheets. There were stains or dents on everything. It was obvious no vacuum had been passed for months (dust everywhere). Bath was clogged. General odor wasn't fresh. A/C smelling ultra musty. Couldn't sleep at all. People slamming doors everywhere throughout the night Prostitutes, partying, drug deals everywhere Overall feeling of being in danger We had booked for 2 nights and left after the first night. Please note we are very flexible people, check out all our reviews, we have low standards when it comes to motels, and this was a very disgusting room. I can't believe the rates are over a 100 dollars for that level of lodging. It is a shame for the Redroof chain.

The room and bedding smelled like cigarette smoke. The sheets weren’t changed from the previous guests, and they were stained with blood and other things. Disgusting! Not enough towels and when we asked for more towels the answer was “if I’ll find some I’ll bring it to you “. She didn’t find.

Sketchy.

That I had a bed to sleep in.

No breakfast included for real paying guests. Coffee was not replenished in room. I moved the nightstand away from the wall to access a electric outlet and found tons of dirt, bottle caps, other garbage.

DISGUSTING: Don't risk staying here.

I can't think of a single thing that was good about this hotel other than at least the room door locks. This hotel was a huge disappointment and so disgusting.

The staff was rude, and the lobby reeked of moth balls. My room was disgusting. there were fecal matter and urine stains on the mattress, dog paw prints on the sheets, other stains on the sheets and bedding, hair everywhere on bed and in bathroom, every single bathroom towel was stained, a beer bottle under my bed, dirt on the floor, mysterious sticky stains on the counters, etc. the air conditioning hardly worked, and the humidity in my room made it feel like I was sleeping in a wet bed. I tried to get a re-fund due to how poor the quality of my room, however, I had to call 5 different days just to get ahold of the manager, who I still never got to talk to directly, just for an employee to tell me "he tried to give you a partial refund, but wasn't able to because you didn't book directly through us". And they were only going to give a partial refund because I didn't request to move rooms, but that is not a policy stated anywhere. Besides, who's going to switch rooms at 11 o'clock at night after 10 hours of driving? I was already so exhausted. I couldn't get any sleep because I couldn't get out of my mind that I was sleeping in filth.

It was a convenient location, refrigerator, clean surfaces, microwave. Staff was friendly at check in. Bed was comfortable enough.

The first room we got had a bed bug in the bed! We only saw the one and saw no signs of an infestation, but it definitely made us feel uncomfortable for the remainder of the stay, even though we were given another room in a separate building. We got back around 1:30 am after a concert and the people in the room next to us were blasting music, snorting coke, talking, etc until 8am. We could hear everything because the walls were so thin I guess? I was finally able to sleep, but my friend didn't. There also seemed to be a party in the parking lot.

Horrible 1st room 110 had roaches was moved to room 117 the room had never been cleaned after the last guest last room 119 hair all over the bathroom floor shower head holder coming off the wall you can see the rust where it was broken. Some college kids was hanging out late kicked our door scared the hell out of us because it was after 2AM.

The location was close to RIT The bed was pretty comfortable.

We only had 1 facecloth and was told more towels would be delivered. They never came. The bath mat was dirty. The TV/remote wasn't working and was told tomorrow they'd fix it. Drug deals going on as well in clear view.

this was a very basic hotel that had seen better days - My original booking was messed up at another hotel and this was the only option left that the booking.com person could get for me on a busy weekend. I didn't feel safe and the noise was terrible.

People yelling outside my door, noisy, unclean - didn't feel safe and found another hotel on my own for the second night

it smelled bad. our first room had hairs and stains on the sheets. the tub was so gross I couldn’t even bring myself to shower. there were holes in the wall that were so poorly patched. the tv was crooked. the lamp shades were crooked.
