The room was clean and comfortable. The clerk worked to solve my problems (no wifi and my pet issue with an undisclosed payment for the pet that was not in your system at all but was reasonable after being threatened with a $250.00 charge.
Your advertisement said they were pet-friendly, and I put my cat as an occupant but they wanted me to sign a statement that no pets were allowed, and if I brought a pet into my room, it would cost me $250.00! I told them that the thing that got me there was that it was pet-friendly. I said that I would not be signing that statement and that I regarded the contract for the room as void since it was under pretenses. The gentleman charged me $10.00 for the pet and did not have me sign the statement. I would have been told the truth up front and what the pet would cost. I do not appreciate fear tactics. If he had not changed the expectation, I would not have stayed there, and I would have raised a stink about the charge for the room being a cancellation fee. I think Booking.com should help vendors put their true expectations up front. And I told them on your form from the get-go that I had a cat. The WiFi did not come up on my computer, and the clerk gave me the inside private account since the other one was apparently not working.

We did sleep comfortably after driving all day.
The room smelled mildewy when we entered, the “breakfast” was disappointing, and the coffee was bad.
