The hotel is in a beautiful location, close to Glacier National Park and within walking distance of the charming restaurants and cafés of Whitefish. The lobby is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, distinctive, and one of the most impressive hotel lobbies we have seen.
The hotel sits next to a large golf course, which creates a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Many of the guests appeared to be older travelers who had clearly come to relax, play golf, and enjoy themselves, giving the property a calm and somewhat classic resort feel.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the service. We had booked and paid a significant amount for a renovated family room, but after discovering that the layout did not work well for our family, the hotel offered us an additional room for the parents at no extra charge.
This was an extraordinary gesture, representing a benefit worth close to $2,000, and it completely changed our experience. This is what outstanding hospitality should be about: recognizing a problem and doing everything possible to make the guests happy. The hotel exceeded our expectations in this regard, and the level of service deserves enormous credit.
Although our renovated family room was modern and beautifully designed, we found the layout surprisingly impractical.
There was very little privacy for the parents, while the children’s sleeping area had no windows and relatively small beds, although the beds themselves were comfortable.
The biggest concern was access to the bathroom. Guests sleeping in the children’s area had to go down stairs to reach the bathroom and shower, which can be inconvenient and potentially unsafe at night, particularly for children or older guests. It almost felt as though the bathroom belonged to a separate part of the room rather than being easily accessible.
Considering the type of guests who frequently stay at the hotel, we believe this particular room layout should be reconsidered from both a practical and safety perspective.

The lobby, and out door balcony was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. Good parking. Accessibility to the location was very nice.
The food was very disappointing for the money. We had supper which was very average for the price and left us quite disappointed, the money aside I would have preferred to make a meal at home. The breakfast buffet was an even bigger let down at $28 a person, and again the quality was pretty poor.
