Worth the money $140 for two nights

That they were working on updating it, the room I stayed in looked freshly remodeled, only down side no mini fridge or microwave in room

Some of the stuff was out of order or not able to be used like the pool

pet friendly hotel, but nowhere really to walk your pet? we managed, but barely…they definitely do not make sure other guests clean up after their dogs…which is why so many hotels do not allow animals anymore.

I won't be back!

Hotel was in good location for what I needed. Perkins and freeway access a plus

Noisy the first night. 1/2 hotel was under renovations but wasn't plastic off so the dust and smell was bad. The elevator was filthy. People at the desk never greeted you in the morning. Rude As for the room- basic. TV didn't work. I climbed up on a chair to tighten the cable and got it to work. Light bulbs were out so had to swap from other lights not being used. Very filthy. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. Tiny and slippery showers. No complimentary shampoo/conditioner, blow dryer or kleenex. Had to use toilet paper. I canceled my reservation for the 20th due to my stay on this trip. I won't stay there again.

The pool is listed as open (in February) so I assumed an indoor pool. It is neither. There was no microwave in my room. The person at the front desk had room-filling BO.

I will hesitate to stay here again.

Location is fine, but the interstate noise on the backside is loud.

The doors slammed and there were mouse droppings and a small pee spot ON the fitted sheet! I did NOT notice this when I went to bed. Had I picked up the whole sheet/blanket I would have immediately requested a new room.

Staff was Friendly. Got me another pillow when I asked.

Room was not worth the price. Bathroom was loud. Room felt cramped. Bed was loud and lumpy. TV took forever to change channels. Will not stay again. Will yell family not to stay there either.

Very good

- Room is roomy. - Large desk to use as table. - Room seems clean. - Motel has elevator to take my upstairs.

- The door had a slight skew to it hence caught the door frame a bit. It was hard to open at first. I had to bump into it with shoulder to open. The door should be checked and repaired. - The control of the AC/heating system was very dated. It has only cool/hot switch and temperature slider. I slide the temperature all the way to the coldest setting, 50F. It was blowing mild cool wind. the system should be checked and updated. - People next door had dogs with them, and the dog barked often. The bark can be heard through the connecting suite door. The hotel should allocate the non-pet people different from the people with pet. It will be better IMHO.

I was double charged for my one night stay! I have sent a note to Booking.com and to the motel 6 in West Des Moines Iowa and neither have responded! I am not at all pleased!

Our room was not cleaned to meet even a basic expectation. Bathtub was not clean, windows weren't clean, floor had not been swept, fridge was not cleaned out, and the lights were completely filthy and covered in something. No microwave that was supposed to be in our room. Outlet was not in the wall all the way.

It was not clean we were in one room and the smoke detector cords were not connected and just hanging out. There was no top to it. Got moved to a different room and the plaster of the ceiling was coming off

The parking was close by, and the location was excellent. My room was quiet. The laundry facilities and the vending machines were convenient.

I couldn't locate the local NBC TV station on the program.

Happy with it but surprised how much it has run down in 5 years.

Room was clean and neat. Love the location. Has nice walking sidewalks in area. Lots of food options. Close to interstate. Very secure with only access to room being inside the hotel.

No shampoo in shower. Lobby was cluttered with product deliveries. Especially around elevator. Shock absorber on rear lobby door broken. Carboard sign hanging on door. Stayed here 5 years ago. Place has really gotten to like it has poor maintenance. Hotel would be great with a little more basic maintenance before it gets to run down.

Okay for one night of sleep.

Close to I-80. Good mattress on the bed.

Room smelled like stale smoke upon entering. somewhat better after A/C was on 2-3 hours. Bathroom sink had a crack.

We’ve stayed here 3-4 times in last couple of years. Because of location and value. Cleanliness and the family friendly atmosphere has changed greatly. Don’t think we’ll stay here again
