First off let me say, they were VERY nice, even worked with me on the rate, and this place sits in a nice spot, right on the road but if you ask for one of the rooms on the back(you will have to go down some stairs though) you will have a beautiful view of the trees.
Saying that, this place you could tell was at one time really nice, but it, like all things is showing it's wear and tear. The floors were chipped, the deadbolt was broken, the lightbulb in the hanging light was barely working, there were areas next to the bathtub that had gotten wet on the sheet rock that were peeling, which could've been why the room smelled a little musty. And the light switches were in the oddest places, so if I had walked into that room at night in the dark I would've been so lost.
As far as the bedding goes, the pillows were awful, they need to invest in some new ones for sure, and the sheets felt like when you've just had your sheets for too long and they need to be replaced, like the fabric is worn and rough.
This is all to say I'm sure running an inn isn't cheap but I know it also needs maintenance and you have to replace things, I think that is where they are at with this inn.
It's a very cute concept and clean and the owner was very nice just in need of some upgrades.

The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND on all of my requests before my stay, which made my stay the best! The room was everything and more that we needed, the staff was amazing, and we had a great time regarding it was a work trip!
Nothing, was everything we truly needed and more! I would of love to of stayed a couple more days if it were up to me, as we only got to stay one night sadly.

We have stayed here many times and love the rooms, but this time the mattress was absolutely horrible. It had indentations in it. The mattress had to be incredibly old. It was completely worn out!
