Nice large clean rooms but construction on our floor was a major drawback

Location, history, large rooms, glass of free champagne

construction directly outside of elevator on our floor- 4 workmen, ladders, cables and drop cloths everywhere pastries at restaurant for breakfast were over priced and not great $27 for 2 pastries and 2 cups of plain coffee was ridiculous spending half an hour on hold and never getting through to staff.

Nice except for the iasue with the cleaning service

Location central and walking distance to many excellent eateries

Valet parking only but it is downtown and space is sparse so…and the valet service was timely Cleaning staff was sloppy, first they didn’t clean the bathroom sinks and one day we came back from a hike at 4 pm and our room still hadn’t been cleaned

I would not stay again or recommend to senior citizens. I would recommend to young people

No complimentary breakfast offered. The bakery/coffee shop closed too early and was not very hospitable

Would absolutely stay here again. One of the more pleasurable hotel experiences in a lot of travel.

Very accessible to walkable areas, comfortable bed, spacious, with a great bathroom.

Valet parking was $17/night but the valets were helpful and easy to work with.

Very good

Great location right in downtown. Hotel has amazing rooms and awesome history. The local tour trolley has a convenient pickup right in front of the hotel and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Huge rooms, great service and great location. The hotel has a lot of history that was great. It was one of the pickup spots for the local tour trolley. Lots to do in just walking distance from the hotel. Great experience.

Beautiful spacious room. Centrally located

The front desk liaison was monotone and lackluster when chucking in and checking out. She didn’t welcome us, she didn’t use good eye contact, she didn’t thank us for our stay, she was simply going thru the motions and almost rude. Should reconsider who the face of your hotel is.

Cute hotel, close to all the downtown Asheville cool hangs.

Staff was amazing, so helpful and attentive.

They need more staff (valets and cleaning people). The wait to check in/out was a bit much (not the staffs fault, just lack thereof). Also I wish the cleaning staff would have vacuumed our room better prior to our arrival.

Location in our room was huge

there was broken glass in our bathroom, and I cut my foot in two places and was bleeding. We brought the glass to the front desk.

Will NOT stay here again.

The hotel was very conveniently located for our travel needs. The lady at the front desk upon check in was very courteous, kind and welcoming.

The room was very worn and dated. Also the ceiling in the bathroom appeared to have a bit of mold as well as peeling paint. Finally, on the morning of our second day there was no hot water. There was also no ETA on when this would be rectified. This made for a very uncomfortable day during our trip. We also received no notification when the water was back on. Finally, no apologies or any offer to make the situation better.

Beautiful lobby. Rooms were nice with comfortable beds.

Front desk seemed short staffed. To get ice you had to go to the front desk, none was available on any of the floors. Several light bulbs out in our room. Fridge didn't cool and we reported it but no one checked it out so no cold drinks.

Horrible cold breakfast

dirty room , holes on the towels , i advised i was just advised my test for covid was positive and they advised i could not cancel and they would not give me a refund , they totally did not care that my family and myself were all positive..

Probably won’t stay here in the future!!!

The room was only cleaned once during our stay. The lamps were broken and when they were replaced, the new one were filthy. The bathroom floor was not clean at all. Overall, I felt the cutbacks due to the economy were too much. The things you are cutting back on, were very obvious. We have stayed here before and the difference is undeniable.
