Clean and inexpensive stay

Room was clean and quiet

Looks like section 8 rooms were at the far end of the building. Not sure what that was about but it was sketchy.

It was an expensive place to sleep

The restaurant across the street

Room outdated and bathtub cracked and dirty. Parking lot looked like a junkyard. Very trashy looking for a $125 a night room.

If you need a short stay reasonably priced motel room then this motel will meet your needs.

The rooms were clean, the A/C worked well, and the bathrooms were clean. Could use extra towels but our stay was nice and got what we paid for. This is a no frills motel but its acceptable for the price.

The front office could be better staffed, we had to leave our keys in a drop box. The office was closed at 8:30 in the morning. They could use more/better stocked vending machines.

OK stay for an emergent situation. No frills. But felt I overpaid.

Location was perfect for me. Was only staying 1 night, just needed a place in between jobs. Room seemed clean, had a bit of difficulty with the wi fi but the front desk was quick to fix the issue. I ended up needing another night, and that transition was easy as well. Overall, I needed a quiet place to recharge before the next barrage of work and this hit the spot. Wi fi great once I got the password figured out.

I felt I overpaid for what I got. However, I should have researched more, I could've gotten a better place for a similar price but was in a pinch and didn't want to dally. Lessons learned, fault mine. No complimentaries like shampoo or soaps or anything.

Good stay. Only problem TV station access. Close proximity to my destination.

Didn't use breakfast. Location ideal for being close to SUNY at Oneonta.

TV only had one station working. No clear instructions on how to access more stations.

disgusting and will never stay there again, wouldn’t even shower there

paid through Booking.com then when I arrived they told me I didn’t pay. ended up paying twice and they still haven’t refunded my money. pretty much stole my money. only 1 light works and tv volume so low you can’t hear it. all you can smell is curry food in the parking lot

I just needed a room for the night after bringing my daughter to college. It met my needs.

No breakfast offered.

The water that came out of the tap wasn't cold. Wi-fi instructions were unclear, but when I called the front desk about it, he actually came to the room with written login/pw instructions.

Oneonta motel 88

Convenient location. Rooms were neat and clean. The A/C was excellent. Great deal for the price...

Hot water in the shower changed temperature a bit, but nothing tragic. The room lighting was a little dim. Ice machine was by the front desk, a little inconvenient.

Exceptional

The room was cleaner than I thought it would be and the ease of check in.

The sheets were tucked to tightly so I had to fight to free my feet.

satisfactory accommodations; pleasant staff

The staff noticed that we were icing our foot without a cooler so they put a fridge into the room. Pretty much exactly what you would expect for the price.

good for the price, but no fridge or microwave in room.

it was comfortable and quiet for the most part.

there was no ice, the floors were filthy, and I felt there were some long-term residents, which made me uncomfortable.

Economical two night stay for alumni function - only needed place to sleep

Near to town and Hartwick College. Shower and Bath tub were good. Floors seemed to be updated since 2019, last time stayed

Bed was not as comfortable, but sufficient for sleeping.

Norman Bates Motel

It was very close to my kid's college and it was cheap.

Well when they let me in the room, I wasn't given a key. They said the key cards weren't working. The room didn't have any heat and the TV didn't work. I was freezing. When I complained, they gave me a better room. They should have done this without even asking. I don't recommend staying here. It is very seedy.

Very reasonably priced motel, with clean and comfortable accommodations.

Its the most reasonably priced motel in the area, the bathrooms are clean and updated, the beds are good.

They were full, and we booked at the last minute, so the only room left didn't have a working tv but we were told before we took it.
