I thought the hotel was unique, the staff was fabulous, and the room service was outstanding.
Our room faced the street , so the construction noise was a little much to hear when we were paying a pretty high price for our 4 day stay.

Check-In went well despite the tight lobby being extremely busy. The doormen worked very hard and were even more pleasant. Rodwin checked us in, the room was ready early, big plus.
Linens were very nice and the bed was comfortable.
Not as much street noise as I imagined.
Our room must have been directly across from housekeeping storage. Lots of noise throughout the day. Furnishings were oh so tired. I suppose it added to the ambiance for The Bowery.

Good location!
Staff all seemed a little miserable and like they were stressed and overworked. The greeting wasn't overly fabulous for such an expensive hotel. The rooms are basic for what they are... lovely, but basic.
