Enjoyed enough to stay again.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful building and fabulous spiral staircase. Lunch at the restaurant on site was very good. Location was perfectly located in Easton.

No closet space for hanging clothes. TV reception was not great. WiFi was weak.

Strange hotel stay with Cabela-like photos throughout

Location was ideal for event - plein air

Front desk staff was unfriendly Restaurant food was expensive and subpar Weird photographs on room floors of hunters/fishermen and brown/black folk doing hard labor - HUH? - out of sync with the times. We had a large photo of a hunter with rifle in our room next to our bed. Looked like an ad for Cabela’s

A charming Inn that could use a little more TLC or a drop in price

The staff was attentive. The bed was somewhat comfortable.

The room was very small for the price. The ceiling, panel to an attic in our closet was cracked and falling apart, the make up mirror came out of the wall when I tried to use it-looked like the top screw had been stripped.

A lovely stay in a gorgeous character hotel

It is a cute, character property with loads of charm. Friendly staff. We love the log fireplace in the lobby.

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas. It would have been great to know in advance that the restaurant would be closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We completely understand why but it would be helpful to know before and/or during check in so that we could make other plans, especially when we were in an unknown town without a car.

Exceptional

Very nice area in the downtown of easton. Close to many shops/restaurants. Great rooms/sizings, and was a very clean hotel. Would recommend if youre in the area or planning on visiting easton.

For a hotel as nice/expensive as is, theres no breakfast besides complimentary coffee. I understand the tidewater inn offers breakfast, but its a bit much to have to pay for, ontop of whats already spent. Kind of a shame, considering other hotels offer breakfast.

The location of the property is perfect for Easton. It has a longstanding wonderful reputation. Many of its rooms have been renovated. Its restaurant is excellent.

While many of the rooms have been renovated, I was shocked by the room that was given to me and I was unable to change it as I got there quite late. The carpet was filthy. The bottom sheet on the bed had two holes in it clearly cigarette burns. There were no hand towels, no small bar of soap, and the toilet was placed such that you could not sit on it unless you closed the door first. I think the reason I was given this room is because I booked through Booking.com rather than directly with the hotel. I think you should remove the Tidewater Inn from your listings.

A lovely stay in a historic hotel in the center of town

This was a lovely old hotel in the center of town. The employees were helpful and friendly, and the lobby areas were cozy, I especially enjoyed sitting in the comfortable chairs by the fire. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was fabulous.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Very good

Location is great, all employees are excellent. The room itself was a bit threadbare with perhaps the most uncomfortable sofa in existence. That made it hard to enjoy the living room of the suite. We also had an inconsiderate party in the room above and were woken up two days in a row by children running and jumping on the hardwood floors. The hotel location is in a terrific

Sound proofing and the sofa in the room are both lacking.

Nice Place, but…

Great location, historical building, nice staff.

In room air conditioning was uncontrollable. Either too hot or too cold. Bathrooms are very small.

No NFL on tv. The washington team was on but i had to go out.

Great location. Nice grounds and lobby. Comfortable bed.

Shower/ tub was slippery no mat. Afraid I was going to fall. No clock in the room. Room had poor lighting.

Nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Great Restaurant!

Food from restaurant was excellent as was the service. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The faucet in the bath tub leaked constantly and made a lot of noise. We were told that it could not easily be fixed because the water to the entire building would have to be shut down to make the repair. Vents on air conditioner were heavily covered in dust and dirt.
