Not as advertised.

Website was very misleading. King suite was a single room with a trundle bed. Not big enough for 4 adults. No seating in the room. Staff was not very helpful. No one was even there to check us out when we left

Bay Head, NJ was Beautiful & our stay at the Grenville Hotel was Awesome!

The atmosphere of this quaint hotel felt like we were in a BNB. Great location, Beautiful front porch, delicious Sunday brunch & just steps away from the beach. Staff was super friendly & helpful ~ Will definitely be returning!

The people on the 4th floor above our room were loud. You could hear them moving furniture and their child crying a lot.

From the dirty and unkempt exterior and entry steps to our departure, our stay was an utter disappointment. We were given a room that had one tiny window and a closet that consisted of a metal pole over a desk/table and a random office chair. There were no hangers. At one point the bathroom door had locked from the outside. Someone came up and with a paper clip to do the job and said that this happens all of the time. The bedding did not seemed to have recently been washed. The sprinkler system must have been updated and the old sprinklers were taken out of the walls leaving holes that were not fixed. We asked to change rooms but we’re told there were none but we don’t believe that was the case. Don’t expect a quiet stay as you will hear every noise. We were awakened around midnight to people coming down the hallway. We heard everything. At 7 am there was all kinds of noise. The continental breakfast which was included was awful. Besides very limited offerings it did not look fresh. A huge warning. “breakfast” is served for one hour on Sunday and only from 8-9 am due to their offering of a public brunch.

it was a good value for off season, just the noise factor seemed to be the problem, also my sheets were to loose for the

it was a great location. the room was fine and the breakfast was good

you could hear everything. the foot steps above me and the cleaning station seemed to be quite close. the room was on the warm side had to keep the window open.

Location was perfect - quaint historical hotel - fabulous room on the 4 th floor -comfortable bed . Staff was friendly and accommodating .

Breakfast was not as expected . Coffee was weak , slim selections. Over ripe fruit.

a nice one night stay at a shore hotel where we had never been before

historic building in a great location with a view of the ocean from our room

the outside enclosed area needed to be cleaned by a blower as there was a lot of debris from the storm. Also the complementary coffee was very weak.

Best Vacation Spot

The location was perfect. So close to the beach. Point Pleasant and the Marina. We loved our room. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly.

There is no designated parking (lot) for guests. Only parking is on the street. Which gets filled up quickly. We had to park around the block away from hotel. They could have had more variety for the continental breakfast. More hot foods. Eggs, pancakes or waffles, etc.

My siblings & I agree that this stay was the highlight of our summer & we look forward to revisiting the Grenvil

Everything. The staff were warm & welcoming (Patty & Maureen). The place was beyond cozy. my brother & sister & I enjoyed sitting out on the sprawling porch to enjoy our meals & relax. The restaurant menu was extensive, the food delicious & the service was excellent. (Thanks Rob!). This place is heaven on Earth…

The fact that we couldn’t stay longer! There is absolutely nothing negative to say - everything was perfection.

I would come back in a heartbeat.

It is a beautiful victorian building with a huge wrap around porch. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us.
