I was being a fussy guy! Extra ice, extra pillow, Tv's not right. No matter what I threw at them they attended to with a tolerant and pleasant attitude! Really appreciate those folks!

The room was well worth what I paid. The employees were wonderful, they even stopped by and asked if everything was good with the room. The place is old and not luxurious, but was excellent for the cost and convinient to the San Juan Ferry. They even let me leave my car for the day while I biked San Juan Island.
I have no complaint.

The upholstered chair seat had a huge stain…who would see that and think highly of the standards of the people who own this establishment? No one. That chair erased any good impression.

Good value, location, nice owners/staff. Basic and clean.
Stains on upolstered furniture off putting. Not an issue for my visit and probably most of the time in Anacortes, put no A/C. Adequate fans.

the interior were great with memory foam mattresses

Friendly staff good location close to restaurants and stores there is a range and a refrigerator so if you bring pots n pans you could cook in this room. There was a wall separating the two beds which was nice, and the room was comfortable.
The first room we were in the fridge was full of water but they switched our room very quickly.

There was no support, when I needed to stay an extra night. Had to go to the front for tissue and no room cleaning.

I most liked the price. I liked the owner who checked me in. She was kind, and very accommodating. For the price, I can not complain. Everything was super clean. My room has a stovetop. A sink. A full sized fridge and freezer. A microwave and coffee maker. You walk in to one room with a full size bed. A large flat screen TV. Then, the connecting stovetop and fridge. There is not an oven just so you know. Then, the other room in the back with another full sized bed. And, another large flat screen TV with xfinity cable and HBO on both TV's. Perfect, if you are sleeping with another couple or kids. If staying, you need to bring your own pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. I was impressed. Hardwood floors which is way cleaner than carpet. I can walk to everything in downtown Anacortes in a minute. It is Halloween Eve and it is so quiet here. I will stay here again. For a motel this is pretty awesome. Breakfast is not offered but that is ok. There are plenty of breakfast places around. Plus, a Safeway, McDonalds, Starbucks and everything is in walking distance.
There is no place to hang my clothes. I just laid them on the extra bed in the other room.

Very well laid out! I was by myself but there were 2 beds, one in the front room, and another in the rear room by the bathroom. In between the room was a kitchenette.
I had no problem with the parking during this stay, but if someone had a larger vehicle the spaces are kinda tight and there were 2 spaces I wasn't gonna try to park in because someone was over the lines.

The pictures were a little deceiving on the web-page but it was a truly - you get what you pay for.
Overall the place was clean.
There was still food in the refrigerator, including veggies and condiments. The shower curtain needed to be replaced. Parking was nothing short of a nightmare.

it was ok for a one night stay.

I loved the little kitchenette, and the feelings of 2 bedrooms. The room was very spacious and beds were comfy. The location was perfect.
Could use a new door as ot looked a little worn but still very secure.

It was quiet, the front desk attendant was nice. The room was larger than expected, they had a first floor unit.
The hotel is very run down, had a kitchenette, but not a single piece if silverware or plate. The sheets were threadbare, the beds were horribly uncomfortable. There were exposed screws in cupboards, holes drilled into furniture, and it was filthy. Repairs look like they were done by a child. No USB outlets to be had, so we had no phone batteries when it came time for our whale watching tour the following morning. People smoking outside the units too close to the building. Not ADA compliant.

It is a small town and we were within walking distance from everywhere.
There was a kitchette, but no utensils...a toaster would have been nice!!

My experience here was excellent. The family who run the hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating and I am very grateful to them for being so wonderful. They were truly the highlight! The room was so large it was almost two rooms in one, and the price for what you get is brilliant. Everything worked very well, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again next time I head over the Friday harbor!
Walls are a little thin but didn't turn out to be a problem when it was time to sleep. I didn't realise that the kitchen didn't have any plates or cooking utensils when I went food shopping so it is something to bear in mind!

This was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are as pictured, and included 2 bedrooms interconnected with a gleaming stainless steel kitchenette, featuring a two burner stove, a large (for a hotel) refrigerator with freezer section, and sink (microwave and coffee maker also). We only stayed one night, but plan to use it in the future as a base for multi-day sightseeing both towards the north, and Whidbey island. The kitchenette will allow me to fix a simple breakfast, or make a salad for dinner. Note that each bedroom had a large TV, which is nice. The place was spotlessly clean. I saw a review that stated that the decor was dated, but I note that the furniture, while used, was of obvious high quality. The owner was very cordial and accommodating.
Nothing really. We were there at the perfect time of the year--no heat or ac required. I only saw evidence of fans, so it might be pretty warm on a hot summer day, but there may be prevailing winds to help cool, Also, if you plan to use the kitchenette, bring your own utensils and pots.
