Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Louisville East

Room was very clean! TV didn't work in the bedroom, but we didn't reprot till check out. So no big deal. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Beds were fairly comfortable.

We didn't get up for the breakfasts, so can't comment on it. The location was great -- quiet area, but close to everything --- mall, interstate, eating places. The King suite was nice. We liked having a "living room" area and a separate bedroom area with a door. The people I encountered were very nice and accommodating. We found plenty of nice, grassy area to walk pets/service animals if you have one. I liked that there were plates/cups/glasses to use (but in-room eating utensils were lacking in quantity/variety). You could ask for most anything extra from the front desk.

We didn't find any installed USB ports, so if you didn't bring your own device/power bar to plug into a USB, you'll have to procure one somehow. The lamps in the rooms are mediocre brightness, but the bathroom and mini-kitchen area had excellent bright lighting. If you plan to prepare a meal/eat in the rooms, bring your own knives/silverware/plasticware. Our room only had 2 soup spoons. You can also ask for other utensils from the desk. Our phone didn't work, and I was told there was some upgrade/maintenance going on, and the phones were affected. It's inconvenient that you have to take the elevator downstairs to ask the desk person a question. No dishwasher if you use the plates/cups, etc, so be prepared to handwash everything you use.

This is a good, basic value place to stay. Jalen the. night clerk was exceptionally helpful. Rooms are clean. love having a separate sitting area. They even have beer on tap in the lobby. Very quiet area too. would stay again in a heartbeat

Nothing really. it was everything we needed . The hallway carpet needs some love, but thats minor at best

Convenient location

Breakfast items ran out and I had to tell the staff about it. W/o items for several days. 2 staff persons, especially one was very unfriendly and not very customer service oriented. Strange that maintenance would have a day off. Toilet broke. Had to go downstairs for a bowel movement.
