Close to my appointment. Close parking. Super friendly helpful staff. Clean everywhere. Was given room with kitchenette, THANK YOU for that surprise. Very nice breakfast which provided essentials and even a couple hot items. Hope they are always available when we need to stay in Springfield again.

Breakfast was great, classic hotel waffles but I was surprised with the biscuits and juice options. Location is fantastic to walk to everything in the main Springfield area, including the Lincoln Museum, and the Dana Thomas House, and the Robin Roberts Stadium. We were on the first floor super close to the lobby but it was super quiet. Probably just a benefit of the type of people likely to be visiting Springfield aren't the rowdy late night crew. It was nice staying at a hotel not owned by a chain I thought it was pleasant. Didn't use the fitness center but it looked perfectly decent for the size of the hotel. And they were finishing up some upgrades and cleaning to the rooms the weekend we were there. Also the shampoo they had was good. I found the beds very comfortable
It was musty in the room but that's not the kind of thing that bothers me. And I believe they were going to be cleaning the air conditioners that week

The breakfast was adequate for my needs
The hotel is upgrading their carpet so hallways weren’t carpeted. The room had new carpet
