Excellent value for money, spacious room, well located.

Spacious room, fridge and hot water worked well. Located in the centre of the town.

If I were to return to the area for an overnight stay, it would be my first choice of consideration.

It's conveniently located; across the street from Governor's Mansion; a half block from a city block park like area where they have summer weekly concerts, and food trucks, at least on Wednesday or Thursday. And one of those food trucks serves some great ribs. And there are some close by places for dinner and entertainment; and their is a community college within a block; and the train station is really close. I did not get a chance to enjoy those establishments; but it's very positively located in a good nice spot. The bed of the king size was great and so too the pillows. Price was competitive to surrounding like type hotels.

There were small items I mentioned at check out. Typically for hotels you have the lock and at the top you have like a catch latch; the catch latch was not operable. For the sink, there was a piece missing, so for shaving, you needed to use a face towel to keep the water from draining out. And for the shower curtain to the tub, one of the ends was not holding well. All of these were mentioned on check out.

DID NOT STAY!!!

We did not stay there was a drug deal going on in the parking lot, we went in, and the lobby stunk so bad. We told the desk clerk we would not be staying there.

Not a safe place to stay and it was filthy dirty, and the lobby stunk so bad I about got sick.

Pleasant

Quietness on the side we stayed.

Seen a lot of drug addicts hanging around and loud around the entrance. Some rooms shouldn't be occupied. The hotel period needs a makeover to be in the heart of the capital /downtown area of Springfield. Too many dead spaces it makes it easier to get robbed.

Never go there again!

Not much about the room was good.

Everything, The room smelled, the walls need paint, the towels were stained, the sheets and bedspread were stained.

Glad to be out of there at 7 am

Location close to medical facility

All non-smoking rooms upstairs - elevator broken. I use a cane and stairs are difficult. Had to stay in a smoking room. No clean soap (dirty rag for a soap dish), the room absolutely smelled, holes in sheets. Charged me $20 room deposit.

#1 on Most disgusting places to stay!

Nothing at all.

The facilities are disgusting. My room number was written on with a sharpie, red flag. The room smelled like an ashtray, there was dirt and dust in every corner, and the bed sheets were filthy and full of holes. I lasted about fifteen minutes before checking out and finding a new hotel. This place is a fleabag, don’t wast your time and money.

the hotel is filthy, outdated, and waaaay over priced.

hot tub was nice and the location was great.

The room was awful. It smelled of mold and cigarettes. the couch has nasty stains all over it and the carpet was so bad you didn’t want to take your shoes off. Had to pay a 50 dollar deposit that was unmentioned anywhere until you got there and that was a joke because the room was so nasty I don’t know how you know it wasn’t trashed anyway. The front desk couldn’t speak English very well and was very hard to understand. overall I was very disappointed and will not be staying there again.

Just the quick stop we needed as we were enroute to a family funeral, coming down from Chicago.

Comfortable beds for each of us. Very friendly staff. Help getting on the internet for my work.

Surprised that we had to ask for hangers, but they were brought immediately. Thanks.

The whole thing. Rooms are filthy. MOLD EVERYWHERE! HOLES IN THE CEILING FROM WATER LEAKS. ABSOLUTELY NOT A RETURN HOTEL! Room was different than what was pictured!

You get what you pay for.

The location.

The hotel is very dated. I was given a 3rd fl room, the elevator was out of service. Comfortable bed Stain on pillowcase Peeling ceilings in the bathroom Bathroom sink was clogged Carpet desperately needs cleaning Hotel feels transient Such a shame for a hotel with so much potential across the street from the Governor’s mansion does not see the benefit in repairing and upgrades to their establishment.

Close to Fairgrounds.

The location was good for the State Fair. Room was clean.

Property is very close to the train tracks, frequent trains passing by. The sink and shower drains were very slow to drain.

Will be looking to book again next year for the fair

Staff was friendly as always. Rooms were clean. Was close to the state fairgrounds which was the reason for our visit. Was close to other places such as eating and stores.

They were waiting for parts to get the elevator fixed, so we had to walk upstairs to get to the room. Other than that. it was good, no complaints.

Elevator, cleaner, there was cleaning residue on counter, found item (dirty) from previous guest, could definitely use more coffee and sugar, creamer in room. A couple more towels in room would be great. Train is Loud. At the lower price you don't expect the Hilton. Thanks

Very disappointing

No breakfast, location was poor didn't know it was next to railroad tracks.

Room cleanliness, we found loose change on a dresser and someone's travel log with a credit card in a drawer. I expect the room to be dusted between guests.

I will never stay at this motel again.

The room we was in had a strong odd odor and was dusty. The entire stay they didn't make sure we had clean towels, soap, or toilet paper. We basically covered everything including the cleaning the room. The covers made us all itch. The lady at the front desk was very rude and didn't give us back our deposit. I will never go back there to check in and I wish I could rate it a zero because they deserve it.
