Worst experience staying in this hotel.

Nothing I hated my whole experience on this short stay.

I brought my children to enjoy the pool for my 9yr old for her birthday was cut short. My visit here was the worst I have ever experienced at a red lion hotel or in any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was cockroaches by the microwave alive. Hairs on the bed as well as stained sheets. The hot tub didn’t work and the pool was just gross. I could not stand in the room more than to rinse from the dirty pool water. We left that room before midnight because we could not sleep knowing there was roaches which was the last thing I could take from here. I’d give it a zero star on my rating on this red lion hotel. I asked for a refund but was told to contact you guys.

Didn't feel SAFE here

right when you walk in. It has a bad smell. The lady at the front desk did not acknowledge. was on a phone call the whole time. Didn't really get eye contact. I wasn't informed about the hotel, room anything. Questions werent asked when arriving. Was given my room key which when we walked in. It wasn;t what I asked for then it was exchange. When upon walking into the new room. The lighting was so dark. There was a bad smell. Stains on the sofa. Stains inside the dresser drawer. A bullet hole in the window!!! cigarette burns on the curtain when it was a non smoking room. The windows weren't clean. Me and my family did NOT feel SAFE here so I requested a refund. She just looked at her computer not listening to me so I then explaned I would take photos. When we were about to walk out. She asked to see the photos, then to inform us she wasn't aware of the room and offer to give us another room. My family aid no and no we didn't feel safe here. I then later called my orginal booking agent and they finally assited me and informed me I would be getting my money refunded.

Will not return, not worth the money.

The water in the shower had good pressure and temperature.

The shower curtains in the bathroom had black fingerprints on them. The sink outside the bathroom would not drain. The lock system they have on the door did not make me feel safe. The entire hotel smelled like dog urine. The jacuzzis jets did not work. The area was surrounded by homeless people. The toilet in the room looked as if something scraped its way out of it.

The room was nice and roomy but didn’t like how they shut off the water before check out.

I liked the room it was big and roomy

I didn’t like that they shut the water off at 1045am. We didn’t even have time to brush our teeth. Had to use our bottled water to we had brought. I had never experienced anything like this at a hotel before. We had to go get our own towels. they wouldn’t bring it to your room. At least they could have told us at check out that they turn the water off at 1045. When check out is at 11am. Then I went to go get items out my car around 1-2am there was a homeless lady right by the elevator with her blanket and little Caesars pizza box. It not right to pay for a nice room and come out and there is weird looking people out in lobby area. As much money you pay for a room to relax and be comfortable they shouldn’t have turned the water off before check out at 11am. That’s crazy.

Won't go back.

The man at the front desk was really rude to everybody. The rooms were gross. They tried to scam us by having us put down a hundred dollar CASH deposit even though we were paid and full Online before we arrived. We read online that people were scammed and didn't get their money back, So we insisted on doing it on the card. The place was so bottom barrel sketchy that we all took video and photos of our rooms when we left to make sure we could prove they looked good... Since we heard they charged people for damage to rooms. The man at the front desk had a hostile personality. The location did not feel safe. The location was dirty.

I don't need to write a sentence, one word sums up my stay, disappointed.

Only thing I liked was the location.

The entire hotel smelled like marijuana even though I selected a non smoking room. Staff was not friendly, they looked miserable working there.

Will never go back.

This property was dirty, gross, and extremely ran down. Staff was rude and unprofessional.

It was disgusting. Carpets are nasty. Housekeeping does a poor job. Staff is unwelcoming, rude, disorganized.

A place to lay our heads at night for an expensive price

Room wasn't ready at 430 so told us it wouldn't be ready for 2 more hours. We had already traveled 4 hours and just wanted to relax. They weren't accepting cards which had to go find a bank for cash that I didn't budget for plus the 100.00 depoist. Just very disappointed

Very poor

Some of the staff was friendly and helpful. I had stayed here once before and I remember it being nice.

Our check in was 3pm, but they were still cleaning our room when we arrived in at 7pm and we didn't get it until 7:45pm. The room has stains everywhere, as well as had a broken TV and the beds had sinking spots. They were completely out of clean towels so we were unable to swim. The front desk staff was short and made no apologies or accommodations for the problems above.

Pleasant

The pool for my grandkids

I was disappointed in my room I was supposed to be upgraded to an executive suite The couch was very small. It had wear and tear. And it had stains On the couch. They need to completely do that room completely over. But the beds were comfortable I will say that. The toilet seat was broken. They did not have enough towels. It can be a nice hotel. They just need to do a makeover on the rooms. The people were nice.

Never going back

There was a drive by shooting nearby, very close. Staff charged me the deposit AND room fee all up front, but did refund the deposit at checkout. Hallway smelled like animal pee.

Great location needs some serious help!!

Location was close to venue

Pool was cloudy and strong chlorine smell, jacuzzi ice cold, some man tried to get in our room, night attendant rude! Bedding a thin blanket and sheet it was cold!! Breakfast was a sunny D and fruit cup and trail bar, coffer was watered down! Oh and the drug dealer that is parked across the street in a trailer was marvelous!

Fairly clean place to stay with good customer service.

Beds are old and worn, was not provided with soap in our room, the hot tub was not hot in the slightest, and someone was shot on the premises the last night we were there.

Do not stay here!!

Nothing

Completely unsafe location with rude staff. The hotel and room were very dirty and outdated. Police closed down the street due to criminal activity and hotel refused to provide a refund so that we could stay in a safer location. Absolutely horrible experience.

Would never stay here again. Absolutely Disgusting

nothing at all. Everything was gross and unsanitary. I have never stayed at a more disgusting hotel in my life. Didn’t give me a refund for stained sheets, hair on the bed and crap stains all over the toilet. All because I checked out early due to unsanitary conditions. My first room had cigarette burns on the sheets. This must be a horribly managed property.

the property was filthy. I had to switch rooms because my first room was disgusting. There was a literal cigarette burn hole in the sheets in my first room. See photo below. The second room was even more gross, hair on the bed, stains all over the sheet, toilet had stains in it, it smelt like a dirty foot and the floor wasn’t vacuumed. I ended up checking out early because the disgusting conditions of the rooms. Mind you, this was my SECOND room. There was a young kid running the counter. He charged me $50 “checking out early fee” and couldn’t refund me because I was checking out early. If you see the pictures below, you would check out early too. Would never stay here again. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Horrible customer service. They couldn’t and wouldn’t refund me.

Not a good value, extremely overpriced

Proximity to showare arena

Only 1 Ice machine and was near lobby, my room was the farthest from there (324), fire alarm goes off at 4ish am. Breakfast bag was a joke, pool was and still is closed for maintenance. I asked is there's a AAA discount and clerk had no idea what AAA was... look to the wall west of desk and theres a AAA placard granting them exceptional service...

the only plus was the front desk working with us to get a refund and we left without staying at all

absolutely disgusting. and just overall creepy atmosphere. we actually left and got a refund to find a different hotel

It was clean and close to where I needed to be.

The receptionist was bland and dismissive. The parking lot in the back was dark, not well lit . The thermostat did not work. The walls were thin, neighbors were noisy and it was after midnight on a Sunday. It looked like there were tenants living there on a long term basis and the looked dirty and druggy. No one was available for checking out in the morning. Someone was asleep on the couch in the lobby when I checked out in the morning. No airport shuttle, no continental breakfast. Overpriced for the conditions and accommodations.
