La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Caldwell

Staff held my room after I notified them I was going to be arriving later than planned due to road closures because of fires. Also, in the morning staff was able to give me directions to a place I wanted to visit. Motel was easy to locate.

I like it I didn’t have to climb in any stairs. It was right on the level that I needed it.

It was standard for a hotel.8

The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning and TV.

This was out first time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, it wasnt the best experience. The front desk staff came across rude and short when we asked questions. Since it was our first time here, we were hoping for a little more guidance on how to get to our room amd maybe a few suggestions for things to do in the area. The small kids pool was dirty, which was disappointing. My daughter also thought breakfast was average. The hotel itself looks a bit run down and could use some updates. For the price we paid, we feel we could have stayed somewhere much nicer. On the positive side, the location was convenient right off the freeway, with plenty of fast food and coffee shops nearby. The area also seems like its growing and has a lot of potential. We visited during fire season, so that may have affected the overall experience, but I hope the hotel improves its customer service and maintenance.
