Inn at Snowshoe

It was close to the Science Center and railroad, and you can at least find something to eat. I will likely stay here again, but only because I now know what I need to know to better enjoy my trip.

The first two things I did not like are personal issues. We are older women, and our room was far away from the elevator. It was quite a hike to get downstairs. The second problem was that our backs are all old and achy. The beds were too soft for us. The staff didn't know their ear from their forehead. Anything you ask them, they would either say they didn't know, or they would lie to you. It just made no sense. Need an ice machine? They don't know where it is. Do you offer this service? They do not know, or they say no when the answer is yes. I saw some coolers off to the side behind the desk. I still don't know what that stuff was. I honestly assume that it was stuff you could buy, but they never let me know when I directly asked about stores.

Quiet

Not enough restaurants to choose from

Beds were comfortable.

This was off-season. The huge place was practically empty, and we (handicapped senior citizens) were placed the farthest distance from the elevator. No in-room coffee at a high price point. There was free coffee between 7-10 am in the lobby. Did I mention how far our room was from the lobby?

clean room

spa was set on low or Maintenace level. We ask to turn it on, they said thats all we get. We have stayed there before and they worked like they're supposed to. Was really looking forward to using spa after bike riding all day, what a let down.
