I liked the accessibility to the highway and ease of locating the hotel. I was greeted quickly since I booked through a third party, the checkin was a breeze. I liked the view from our 8th floor room. There was plenty of parking. The breakfast was hot but there could have been more of a selection to choose from. It was basic. I loved the bed and the comfort. The space of the room was great and it had the basic necessities. Fridge, microwave, coffee, iron, hair dryer.
I did appreciate the late check-out since we arrived later than expected due to the heavy traffic. But the front desk kept calling to find out when we leaving. That was unsettling. They asked who authorized the late checkout. The lady who checked us in on Friday. Maybe because im a AAA member. I don't know but again I was grateful.
The hotel is a little old and could use some updating. The carpets or something smelled mildew or old. The elevator was sketchy. All floors didn't have ice so i had to go down 6 floors to use their ice machine.
