Such a good location. I love the beautiful view of the river.
We got back very late from the music festival at the Field of Dreams. We couldn’t find our keys so we asked the front desk for help. She looked totally inconvenienced to even let us in the front door (since it requires a key card that late) then went back to the desk, faced the other direction, and completely ignored us. Thank goodness we ended up finding our key card mixed in with all our festival stuff because lord knows how long we would have been standing there. Kinda sounded like she was on a personal phone call as I heard “K love you”
I’ve worked 3rd at a lot of hotels. I totally get it. A few personal phone calls and texting keeps you awake for the long uneventful night. But when someone DOES come up, help them and get them out of the lobby. It kinda looked like maybe she was counting a drawer-which shouldn’t have been a big deal. We weren’t asking for anything that would have messed up or interrupted the audit.

The property was kid friendly and my children loved the crafting area.
My room was booked for a suite and it was a regular room. The room was dirty. There were spider webs and lots of little spiders in every corner in the room. The bathroom bath tub had black footprints in it. I just wasn’t pleased with the cleanliness of the room or the type of room for the price in which I paid.

The restaurant was excellent and priced reasonably. The view of the Mississippi from our dinner spot was spectacular. The water park and arcade was nice and the staff was friendly.

Easy location and clean overall.
Poor service in the waterpark. Took forever to get service and then took over 10 minutes for person to make one strawberry daiquiri… not acceptable! And then one of the two main waterslides was shut down both days we were there so could only use two of the main waterslides other than the one big one with rafts.
