Everything was very clean and well managed. I was expecting a regular hotel experience and I got a completely normal hotel experience!
I had trouble setting the air conditioning.

It was in close proximity to the theme park we were visiting. There were places to eat nearby, and it was located right of the highway we used to get there.
The hotel is currently under renovations and the gym was not what it was expected to be.
When we arrived to our room it was not 100% clean, there was make up marks on the white sheets and candy wrappers behind and next to the pull out sofa.
The staff was quick to make amends and changed our room.

Location to Kings Dominion and the space is pet friendly. The staff was really nice and helpful.
The breakfast was not good. I stuck with cereal and yogurt. The elevator was out of order during our stay. We were on the second floor so it wasn't too bad but that was slightly inconvenient.

The size of the room/suite
Elevator has been out for weeks. Understaffed hotel.
Room was not clean.
No linens for bed. Had to go to the front desk to be handed a blanket and sheets in a pile.
Curtains were off of the tracks.
Bathroom faucet leaks onto countertop.
1 garbage can in a room that can sleep 7 and the can didn't have a garbage bag in it.
Previous renter's hair left on bathroom floor.
Half empty water bottle left in the closet.
At breakfast, 1 worker, doing the best he could, busting his butt to help alot of guests and also having to cover the front desk.
