The apartment is in a very handy location just off the Riva, close to the back streets of Diocletian’s Palace. Our hosts, Daira and Vladimir, were very helpful with information about a local gym and also arranged an early check-in, meeting us when we arrived before the official check-in time. The apartment is very nicely furnished and quite spacious. It’s also conveniently located close to a Spar supermarket and lots of great places to eat. We had a particularly enjoyable dinner at Bokeria Kitchen and Wine to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and would happily recommend it.
Nothing to do with the apartment itself, but the city has recently started a major upgrade of the Stupe Wastewater Treatment Plant, and unfortunately the apartment is in an area where there can be an unpleasant smell. We got used to it, but I think it’s worth mentioning for anyone who is particularly sensitive to smells.
