Breakfast was good the coffee was horribly weak and disappointing

The breakfast had options that suited us. Just having bananas and cereal available is a big plus for us. The breakfast area was spacious and well attended to by friendly staff. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Great shower! Also, easy to find along Highway 2 and it was a nice town to explore on foot if you like to get some exercise.

The room was large and the hotel location was good. The breakfast was also good.

There was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. My wife has Parkinson’s Disease and her mobility is limited-the 16 stair staircase was challenging. I asked for a room on the 1st floor and was told there were none! I was at the reception desk at that time and witnessed several able bodied single customers being registered into their rooms on the 1st floor! That was very upsetting! The staff wasn’t very helpful…just kind of indifferent to our concerns. When I mentioned that the hotel should put on it website that there is no elevator in the building, the desk clerk remarked, we’re not required by law to have elevators in this area of the state. Gee, thanks for that tidbit of information! Next, it’s time to consider replacing the beds. Both of the queen beds in our room were very lumpy and uncomfortable. They definitely sagged in the middle. Finally, the heating/air conditioning unit in our room was extremely noisy…time to replace that, as well.
