They can use an upgrade

Breakfast was great. The suite we stayed in was nicely setup.

My suite had spider webs in every corner. There was still dog hair on the carpet. When I pull out the sofa bed the mattress was stained.

We are repeat customers, comfortable stay at reasonable price.

The service from Pat at the front desk and Rob the manager is fantastic. They are always very personable which adds the enjoyment of your stay.

Always like a room in the back of the building as it reduces any noise from snow plowing or traffic.

This is a clean, low end hotel.

My review is less about The Comfort Inn and more about the Booking.com service. They made this seem like a MUCH nicer option than it is…… 80 % of the vehicles in the parking lot were were workman trucks - roofers, painters, etc.

The AC/Heat system did not work well. It’s November in Syracuse & the room was so hot-we had to Gerry rig the AC to kick on to make the room

Overall, it was a pretty good stay. We had a total of 6 people stay for two nights

Breakfast was pretty good, could’ve had more options for waffles. Like maybe added some chocolate chips and/or fruit. Loved how the food service manager kept filling everything up when it got low, she was on top of everything during breakfast.

My boyfriend made himself some tea, he didn’t realize that the water canteen he got it out of wasn’t cleaned properly I guess. He had black stuff in his water.

Disappointed

Staff were friendly

Room was not cleaned well. There was dark hair (looked like pet hair) everywhere- on the blankets and even pillowcases - on one of the beds. The sink also had the same hair in it and the sink drained very slowly. The remote for the TV was sticky and gross. Also the price appeared to be jacked up because of the state fair (which we weren’t there for).

Comfortable, clean rooms, kitchen staff set off fire alarm and we evacuated at 5.45am!! Exhausted!!

Comfortable beds, great location!

Kitchen staff set off the fire alarm at 5.45am, so we all had to evacuate the building! During this time there was no communication from any staff member. No apology given!! Breakfast was also disappointing!

We are very displeased with our experience.

It is hard for me to say what I liked about our stay. The front desk staff during day time were very personable, and impressive. Location was good.

Internet was terrible, I was not able to get a good connection to check my work emails. The cleaning staff congregated outside our room and were very loud in the morning. The bedding was not made correctly, the matress pad was inside out. We were happy with the front desk staff, aside from the night clerk, she did not greet as you were coming in. Overall, we were very disappointed with this stay, which is unfortunate, because we like the Comfort Inn Brand.

Very good

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very clean. Everything worked in the room. We had enough of everything we would need in the room. Comfortable mattress. Good breakfast. We would stay there again.

Our room was close to the main road, noisy traffic. Unfortunately being Spring time, ants were coming in from the corner of the floor by our door. They did move us to another room right away.

Very good

The hotel was nicer than I anticipated and was directly across from the exit to the highway, so it was easy to get back and forth to downtown Syracuse. Once you get through to the manager they are very helpful.

I booked through booking.com - but then booking.com did not help me at all after the booking when I needed to change my reservation. The hotel told me I had to work through booking.com, so it was a finger pointing session. Finally I got a manager at the hotel who changed the night of my reservation.

Good

Easy off the highway, good value . Partially renovated . If you’re looking for a place to lay your head while traveling, I would highly recommend. The shower was hot, the bed was very comfortable. Facility is partially updated. The carpets could use a little bit of cleaning, my toilet seat fell off and there was no hairdryer in the room. These are small inconveniences for the hundred dollars I spent! breakfast was more than adequate hot eggs sausage home fries, waffles, hot coffee no complaints there.

Not a very good nights rest

The whole night the heater/air conditioner, sounded like a constant icemaker. After shutting it off, the room got too hot, so I had no choice to keep it on and running very noisily. I tried to call down to inform the front desk, however our hotel phone was not working.

IF YOU WANT CLEAN, DON'T STAY HERE

It was on our way to our cruise. Wouldn't stay again

Pulling back the bed covers to find multiple stains on the bedsheet. We went down to the lobby, were offered new sheets, and went back to our room to make our bed. How the stains on the sheet weren't seen by cleaning staff, I'll never know.

Perfect for the occasion.

We’ve been staying at this Hotel for almost four years now. Only one time did I have a major issue with cleanliness. I ended up staying in my car for the night and called first thing in the morning. They treated me like a queen making sure I approved of the room. Will definitely be back!!!

It snowed and the parking lot could have been a bit cleaner.

Overall very satisfied

Great breakfast, very friendly and helpful attendant in the dining area for breakfast. Appreciated how close it was to our destination, and having restaurants so close to the hotel

There appeared to be vomit on the bedskirt and carpet of one of our rooms. A simple cursory look by housekeeping should have caught this. I did appreciate how quickly the front desk clerk found us a different room nearby.

Ok for an overnight stay

Staff was helpful and friendly! The location was great.

Ceiling was falling down in bathroom, bathroom door was hard to close, made lots of noise and there was a white stain on the floor around the AC unit.
