Staff was very friendly. Good value for price. Easy to find hotel. I would stay there again.
There ceiling in the bathroom was leaking. It had a recent plaster repair, so I think they had tried to address the leak, but the plaster was wet and water was dripping through it. I found this in the morning. We only stayed on night. I was going to tell the front desk when I checked out, but there was no one at the desk.

There was no breakfast; that would have been a nice add-on. The price was decent. The man at the desk was cheerful, if a bit voluble.
The location will almost send shivers up your spine. There was no window on the front of our room, only on the rear, and it overlooks a scraggly, mean-looking patch of woods and brush. I told my kids, looking out the window, that in a true crime video, this is where someone says, "Here is where they found the body." There was construction crap lying around too, especially in the back, and that contributed to a kind of trashy appearance. Plus, we got a room all the way at the end of the motel -- which was quite a distance away -- and it felt a bit unsafe. The owner needs to hire someone to go around with a trash bag and pick up all the junk.
