A great family-friendly location near FHU!!!

The spacious, clean rooms with lots of chargers/outlets.

Breakfast wasn't great but it was edible. Several choices. Didn't make a waffle but love that they offer the self serve machines.

Well worth a little more expense!!! Great for Families!

Wow!! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile! The staff (every person we encountered) were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Fresh-baked cookies were on the counter in the lobby, and water, and water with lemon were offered. The room was wonderful, large enough for our whole family with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. Room for teenagers for sure! It was clean and felt safe and cozy! Breakfast was your typical hot and cold (make your own waffles, there was sausage, eggs, potatoes, plus cereal, pastries, etc). It was quick access to I40. Definitely a place we will stay again!

We didn't have time to check out the pool :( Some road noise from the interstate but not as much as I feared with being so close. Not enough to keep us from sleeping soundly.

Needs new staff members asap.

The location was great, on the road but still quiet. It’s next to the old country store and a train village, would be fun with family. Gas station and other restaurants close by. Lobby is nice and clean, breakfast doesn’t start until 7:00 on the weekends, so late we didn’t get to have any. The beds were nice and offered a lot of pillows.

I had high hopes as it was busy when we pulled in, however, the trash was overflowing with garbage on the ground. Inside seemed nice and new, but the staff is why we marked this location so low. The check in woman was horrible, she refused to give us more towels, there was only 4 of us and accused us of having more guests in our room! My husband stated no, we just need more than 4 towels. Anyone have tween girls and 2 of us with long hair!? I was appalled, she even said where are the dirty ones then? We had just arrived, and still she refused to give us any towels!!? The water in the bathroom was orange when you ran it, the bathroom tiles had no more grout, and moved when you walked on them. The bathroom shower finishing was coming off in multiple places.

We travel a lot. This exceeded our expectations and was very welcoming

Breakfast gave us lots of options especially protein since we needed that besides all carbs Room was delightful and well maintained.. we would love to stay here again but do not travel thru this area much

Probably stocking the breakfast area before or after meal hours.. having cardboard boxes in the middle of the floor a lil hard to maneuver around with lot of people

EXCELLENT! Convenient, clean and comfy!

I booked a room for my parents and my children who were traveling with them. I read the reviews online and this seemed like the best place. My parents were VERY SATISFIED! The breakfast was great, the location is SUPER convenient being right off of I-40, comfy beds and clean place. EXCELLENT! We will keep this place in mind when we plan our future trips!

It was great, but disappointing because of my bill issues.

It's always been a great place for me to get away to for my 1 or 2 day vacations. Great place to go and lay back and relax for the weekend.

My stay was great as usual. The only problem I had and still having because I'm currently still dealing with it. Is that they charged me twice for my 1 night stay on 2 different cards. And now I'm getting the run around about refunding my money. They said my bank has to release the funds, but they don't have a hold on it.

Our family enjoyed the big rooms, indoor pool, hot tub, and complimentary continental breakfast. We have four children, and the breakfast had so many options for them to choose from.

My only dislike was a uncontrollable problem by the hotel... the lights were out from 10am until 6 or 7pm

the room was hot the air didn’t work I overheard others talking about their rooms being hot as well staff was so rude especially the older lady at the front desk will not stay again don’t recommend

Wasn't to bad to not stay again just could of been better.

Friendly and location

The room was silent with no fan to use the heat and air didn't work. Bathroom was small and toilet wouldn't flush half the time. Breakfast wasn't replaced with more after running out

Disappointed

The room was very clean. The bed was comfy. Close to anywhere we wanted to go. Lady at front desk was really fun

Housekeeping would be ridiculously loud when making their rounds. Hollering up and down the hallway.

Great Stay !

We LOVED the night shift receptionist ♡ She was so very kind.. if she is not a manager she should be ! Never had someone be so sweet an actually talk to us, inform us an just be vocal to the point she would someone we would look forward to seeing on our stay ♡ precious lady for sure ! An we never fill out these surveys i only did this because she needs someone to tell her she is a huge impact on us coming back soon to that hotel ! We hope to see her again for sure !!

The pressure in the shower was very low... other than that we loved our stay. The bed an pillows were top notch also !

Improvements needed

Convenient location

Front desk staff did not welcome us upon arrival. In the room the bed and sofa were very hard and uncomfortable. There was no mirror outside of bathroom, bathroom door overly large for the space, no exhaust fan in bath and no shelf to put soap and shampoo in shower. Safe door wouldn't stay shut in closet making closing the doors difficult not to mention the damage it is causing to the inside of the closet doors. Vending drink machines had no water only canned cokes for a dollar. For water you had to go to the 1st floor market which was quite expensive and inconvenient. Limited snacks.

The rooms were clean and comfortable but staff was very rude.

good location for an event we attended.

We were in town for a very important family event with several other family members. The night manager that worked Saturday evening was very rude and not friendly at all. Treating people with respect means a lot to our family and because of the disrespect we were shown that evening we will not stay here again.

room smelt pretty bad. wasn’t clean. body hair in the restroom, stains and hair on the couch and hair in the bed. Staff during check-in were not very friendly or welcoming. older gentleman at check out was nice
